Celebrate your special event at Frazier Farm in Louisburg, where history and Southern charm come together. Our family farm features a restored historic 1850s Homeplace and a covered outdoor pavilion,
a beautiful place to gather, celebrate, and make memories.

History of the Homplace
This historical home is believed to have been built by J.T. Harris somewhere around 1850, upon a portion of a land grant from the King of England to the Harris family. It appears that J.T. Harris had 6 children, two of which (Burke and Clarence) are buried in a small family cemetery behind the home. For unknown reasons, the Harris family sold the Homeplace and approximately 140 acres to our Great-grandfather, Isham "Mr. Mott" Frazier in 1913. Mr. Mott raised 11 children in the home and farmed tobacco and cotton until his death in 1952. Upon Isham’s death, the farm was divided and the house and 40 acres was given to Isham’s daughter, Eva “Jake” Frazier Wiggins and her husband, Robert. Our grandfather, Claude, purchased the remaining 100 acres from his siblings. Claude Frazier and his wife, Myrtle Perry Frazier, farmed tobacco and raised their family on the farm until their deaths in the 1990’s. The Homeplace remained in the Wiggins family until Claude’s grandchildren, Perry Todd Frazier and Tina Frazier Pace, purchased the house and 6 acres back in 2018, rejoining the two sections of the farm back together. The Frazier farm currently consists of 74 acres of the original Isham Frazier Farm.
Perry Thomas Frazier (Claude’s son), and his children, Todd and Tina, still live on the farm and have continued to sell home-grown corn, watermelons, tomatoes and other produce to the local community via an "honor system" produce stand. We hope that The Homeplace at Frazier Farm will be a place to continue to provide a taste of "farm life" to the community and to host their cherished family events. We hope that you enjoy your time at The Homeplace at Frazier Farm as much as we enjoy sharing it with you.
